Experiential/Movement Groups for Kids and Teens

Helping kids and teens to find confidence, self-regulation, camaraderie and health through physical movement and increased self-awareness of their body's needs.

All participants who are in the CLTS program are to be referred through their CLTS case worker.

Groove and Grow

For: Kids ages 8-11 yrs who are in need of skills related to self-regulation, executive function strengthening and interpersonal skills in a group setting.

Focus: Use of activities focused on developing interpersonal skills, movement to encourage body awareness and the practice of patience as well as activities to enhance communication with one another, Parents are informed of each group's lesson and provided materials to continue lessons learned in the home.

When: Mondays 4:00-5:00 pm. Limit 8 kids per group session, Open group format

*A group assessment is required to start the group.

Cost: $75 for group assessment; $400 for 8 group sessions ($50/group) *Insurance cannot be applied to this group

*HSA funds can apply

Sole 2 Soul has contracts with Winnebago, Outagamie and Calumet County CLTS programs. Speak to your CLTS case worker about a referral for the group, found on our homepage.

Teen Empowerment &
Exercise Group

Who: Teens ages 13-17 yrs who want to feel more confident in their physical selves, learn a variety of exercises to develop their comfort in movement and what their bodies need to feel good in general, and even for that day!

Focus: Increase self-confidence through becoming more comfortable listening to their bodies, learning a variety of exercises and movements for different benefits (strength, flexibility, endurance, relaxation, mood enhancement) and a space that promotes connection to peers in a healthy and empowering way.

When: Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm. Limit of 6 teens per group session. Open group format.
