Katie Jensen is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of Sole 2 Soul, a clinic providing mental health counseling and consulting to individuals, families and professionals. Katie received her Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Katie has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at the Beck Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania focused on treating adults as well as advanced training focused on the treatment of children and adolescents. She has also completed training in the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute through the International OCD Foundation to administer Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) to treat OCD and other anxiety related disorders. Katie specializes in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, ADHD, individuals struggling with medical concerns and family systems stressors. She has worked with a wide variety of clients in various settings including within residential treatment, day treatment and outpatient treatment.
Katie’s training and expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as her strength-based, systems focused therapy approach leads to her being able to quickly build positive and trusting relationships with her clients as well as provide effective interventions that lead to long lasting change. Mindfulness techniques, behavioral activation and exposure response prevention are all interventions Katie applies within the Cognitive Behavioral model.

Jonathan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing mental health counseling to individuals and families. Jonathan received his Master's Degree in Counseling from Lakeland College.

Jonathan has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through Massachusetts General Hospital within their Psychiatric Academy, focusing on applying CBT to children, teens and adults. Jonathan has extensive training and experience in grief counseling, but also specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD and family related stress. Jonathan has taken special interest in helping individuals as they adjust to life transitions. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree from St. Norbert College in Religious Studies and Philosophy which gives him a foundation to explore themes of spirituality if a client is interested in including this dynamic.

Jonathan's use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Narrative Therapy helps to empower individuals to understand their own symptoms, develop individualized ways to cope with symptoms and to support families/support systems as well. Jonathan focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental relationship as he helps clients build insight and self-acceptance as they learn to separate themselves from their identified problem.

Sandra has a master's degree in education, spent 17 years as an educator in special and regular education, then 6 years as an elementary school principal, she is currently serving as Director of Student Services in a local Pre-K to 12th grade school system and is providing parent/caregiver coaching and consultation within Winnebago County's Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) through Sole 2 Soul.

Sandra has experience working with kids as young as 4 years old with various mental health and developmental concerns. Sandra appreciates the challenges that come with parenting a child who has significant mental health, physical or developmental challenges. Sandra's role in the CLTS program is to provide support, feedback and guidance using a strength-based, nonjudgemental and supportive approach. Her priority is to provide a safe space for parents/caregivers to discuss their challenges that come with parenting a child with high needs.

Kayla is Sole 2 Soul’s Client Concierge. Her role includes providing support to our clients as needed including billing related questions, problem solving client portal questions and offering scheduling support as needed. Kayla also serves as S2S's billing specialist, medical records custodian and marketing assistant. She is your first point of contact with S2S and has continual contact with clients throughout their treatment process via calls, texts and email.
Kayla joined the Sole 2 Soul team in September 2019 and has a history working within dental and orthodontics as an Office Manager, Financial/Billing Coordinator and Receptionist. Kayla enjoys being a support for clients, encouraging a smooth and successful experience on the administrative end while clients work with their S2S mental health therapist on their treatment needs.
