Mindful Performance Training
Many people have heard the word mindfulness, but what does it really mean?
At its core, mindfulness is the practice of experiencing the present moment without judgment. This includes noticing our thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations—without judging them. Yet for so many people, simply staying “present” can feel almost impossible.
Mindful Performance Training at Sole 2 Soul is a series of six sessions designed to teach you skills that help you do just that—stay present.
Building a stronger relationship with the present moment can help you feel more regulated emotionally, mentally, and physically. Through breath work, imagery, learning to understand your own body, and practices in gratitude and compassion, you develop skills that bring you back to the present.
The gift of this training is learning how to build greater focus, emotional resilience, self-kindness, and self-confidence—skills that can support you not only in performance, but in everyday life.

For: Ages 11 yrs-adults
Why mindfulness? Consider Mindful Performance Training if you struggle with self-regulating your nervous system. If you are challenged with consistent, circling thoughts (thought rumination), struggle to stay focused in conversations, feel the need to go from task to task, avoid "pause" in your day, and/or a struggle to find a mind-body connection, you are the perfect candidate for mindfulness.
What is it? The basis of mindfulness is to stay "present" and without judgement (so hard sometimes!). We call it "Mindful Performance Training" for a reason, you literally learn how to train your brain to work with your body to calm down, return to focus and regulate.
