Calm Within

A Body to Mind Program for Women

Kerry Peeters developed this interactive, 3-part workshop to help women who live with anxiety or higher levels of stress and want to reduce symptoms through their bodies.

 

You will learn AND practice:

  • How and where you experience emotion in your body

  • Simple movements to help you release pent up angst

  • Mindfulness eating

  • How to identify your gut response to different foods

  • Eating behaviors to calm your nervous system

Who: Women seeking a reduction in anxiety/stress through physical interventions

When: Upcoming sessions

September 23rd, 30th from 5:30-7:00pm

& October 7th from 6:15-7:00 pm

Cost: $180 for the 3 session program

Session 1:  Movement to Regulate Your Nervous System

Learn how  to identify your emotions within your body and learn/practice movements to help regulate the nervous system, and create a greater sense of calm - without intense workouts.

Session 2:  Mindful Eating & Gut Health for Mental Health

Learn and practice the concepts of mindful eating to help you  reduce stress, improve digestion and increase emotional awareness.​ Explore the powerful connection between digestion, mood, anxiety, and energy. Learn simple habits that support both gut and mental health.

Session 3:  Follow up & Accountability

You’ve learned the tools—now comes the support for putting them into practice. In this 45-minute follow-up, we’ll celebrate your wins, explore what may have gotten in the way of your action steps, and create a plan to keep moving forward. No judgment—just support, accountability, and coaching to help you turn knowledge into lasting change.

A light dinner is provided and as a part of the experiential learning process. Wear clothes that allow for ease of movement. If weather permits. There may be some movement activities outside.
